Jan Fabian Ehmke, Ninja Söffker, and Yannick Scherr each received a Transportation Science Meritorious Service Award for 2023.
These annual awards have been created by the Transportation Science editorial board “to recognize associate editors and reviewers who have offered exceptional service to the journal in the review process. This honor is given to those who distinguish themselves, either by the number of papers handled, efficiency of handling papers (turnaround time), quality of the reviews (thoughtful and unbiased), or some combination of these.”
The 2023 awardees have been announced at the INFORMS annual meeting and will appear in the November/December issue of the journal. Prof. Ehmke received the honor for the second time after previously being awarded it in 2021.
