Das Institut für Business Decisions & Analytics war nicht nur gut, sondern auch sehr erfolgreich vertreten: Prof. Rudolf Vetschera diente als Mitglied des Organisationskomitees; Prof. Jan Fabian Ehmke wurde mit dem „Best Review Paper Award“ ausgezeichnet; Dr. Florio Alexandre De Macedo, der 2019 am Institut promovierte (Betreuer: Prof. Richard Hartl) und inzwischen als Post-Doc an der Eindhofen University of Techonology in den Niederlanden beschäftigt ist, erhielt den EURO DoctoralDissertation Award (EDDA).

The EURO 21 conference – the European Conference on Operations Research took place on July 11 -14, 2021, in Athens, Greece, as well as in hybrid form (https://euro2021athens.com/). The Department of Business Decisions & Analytics, was not only represented very, but also very successful: Prof. Rudolf Vetschera served on the Organizing Committee; Prof. Jan Fabian Ehmke was honored for “Best Review Paper”; Dr. Florio Alexandre De Macedo, who graduated in 2019 at the Department (supervisor: Prof. Richard Hartl) and has since joined Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands as post-doc researcher, received the EURO Doctoral Dissertation Award (EDDA).
