STEOP: VO Introduction to Business Administration
Goals, contents and method of the course
Students gain insight into business administration in the spectrum of social sciences. In particular, the module provides an overview of areas of application in business administration and its sub-areas:
Corporate management, marketing, production and logistics, finance, accounting and balance sheet analysis. The latter area is dealt with from the point of the recording and informational consolidation of money and service flows arising in the operational value‑added process.
The module provides information about the various specialisation options offered by the course of study and the potential occupational fields of business economists. (From the Curriculum 2014)

- Foreign language dictionary without any personal entry; no social and economic science dictionaries
The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions: 40 from the ABWL part, 20 from the Accounting part. The number of correct answers is noted with the respective question.
